Welcome by Chair of the Department

Dear students,

On behalf of the staff, I would like to welcome you to the Speech Therapy Department of the University of Peloponnese.

Our department is located in the beautiful city of Kalamata. It offers a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy and training in clinical practice through a series of courses in collaboration with external agencies in the wider Messinia area. Regarding graduate studies, the department offers a program that focuses on the special needs of children and adolescents in collaboration with the Department of Nursing. It is called "Care and Support of Children and Adolescents with Special Health Needs in the Community." Finally, our department offers doctoral studies to promote research and innovation. The staff's goal is to offer the best education with a continuously developed course curriculum that considers society's needs so that the graduates have better training and quicker career prospects.
