Laboratory in Clinical Applications for Speech Therapy, Audiology, Speech Analysis, and Communication (E.K.E.L.A.F.O)
E.K.E.L.A.F.O is part of the Department of Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Peloponnese (referred to as the “speech therapy laboratory”). It provides speech therapy and audiology services (clinical assessment and intervention) to children and adults with communication, language, and speech disorders in the broader geographic region of Messinia and neighboring regional units.
These services are an integral part of the education of the students in our department and are supervised by academic staff members with expertise in speech therapy. The laboratory’s staff is trained to address the questions and concerns raised by parents regarding their children or patients/family members with communication, speech, and language disorders to provide the highest level of care.
E.K.E.L.A.F.O operates within the academic calendar of the University of Peloponnese on a non-profit basis. It offers services to all individuals with communication needs without discrimination about age, race, color, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, etc.
